The Weta Trimaran was developed in New Zealand by father and son team Roger and Chris Kitchen, they wanted a boat that was easy to sail and easy to learn on but fast enough to ensure that new and old sailors would enjoy it.
The result was a revelation – The 4.4m Weta Trimaran is simple and forgiving to sail but fast enough to inspire new and old sailors. In just four years of production more than 680 have been sold worldwide.

The Weta is...
Fun – Reach speeds of up to 18 knots by yourself, or pile everyone on for a cruise.
Fast – Stiff and light, fibreglass hulls and carbon fibre beams and mast.
Easy – Forgiving to sail, stable, simple control lines and a furling gennaker.
The Weta is an ideal teaching boat – the instructor can sit next to the student on the boat, it’s fast enough to inspire them and easy enough to empower them. A great way to introduce sailing to kids.
